Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategies for material planning, procurement, and inventory control.
Manage the end-to-end supply chain for raw materials, components, and finished goods.
Optimize inventory levels to minimize carrying costs while ensuring production continuity.
Lead supplier selection, negotiation, and relationship management to secure favorable terms and quality.
Oversee warehousing, logistics, and distribution operations for efficient material flow.
Collaborate with production, sales, and engineering to align material availability with demand forecasts.
Utilize ERP/MRP systems to track material movement, generate reports, and drive process improvements.
Recommended Qualifications
Proven experience in supply chain management, logistics, and procurement within a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) for inventory planning and control.
Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
Demonstrated ability to optimize inventory levels and improve material flow.
Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
Bonus Qualifications
APICS CPIM or CSCP certification
Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification
Advanced proficiency with SAP or Oracle ERP systems
Experience with global supply chain management and international logistics
Strong data analysis skills using tools like Power BI or Tableau
