Base pay range $55,000.00/yr - $55,000.00/yr
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Domestic Coordinator to support domestic freight operations for their growing freight forwarding company based in Houston, TX. This role is responsible for coordinating shipments, ensuring timely delivery, maintaining accurate documentation, and providing excellent customer service. Experience with CargoWise is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate domestic shipments (LTL, FTL, intermodal, and air) from origin to final delivery
Communicate with carriers, warehouses, drivers, and customers to ensure smooth shipment execution
Enter, update, and manage shipment data in CargoWise (or similar TMS)
Prepare and review shipping documentation, including BOLs and delivery confirmations
Track shipments, proactively resolve delays or issues, and provide status updates to customers
Rate shipments, assist with billing accuracy, and support invoicing processes
Ensure compliance with company procedures and domestic transportation regulations
Support operations and sales teams as needed to meet customer requirements
Qualifications:
1–3 years of experience in domestic logistics, freight forwarding, or transportation coordination
Experience with CargoWise strongly preferred
Knowledge of domestic freight modes and transportation processes
Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
