Construction Superintendent
We’re seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead day-to-day field operations on commercial construction projects across Northern Virginia and the DMV. This role is responsible for on‑site execution, subcontractor coordination, schedule adherence, safety compliance, and quality control from mobilization through closeout.
The superintendent will serve as the primary field leader, working closely with Project Managers to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with plans and specifications. Experience with ground‑up and/or interior renovation projects is preferred.
Responsibilities
Oversee all on‑site construction activities and sequencing
Coordinate subcontractors, inspections, and deliveries
Maintain and update project schedules and look‑ahead plans
Enforce jobsite safety and OSHA compliance
Ensure quality control and manage punchlist completion
Communicate daily progress with project management teams
Qualifications
2+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent
Commercial construction experience (ground‑up or interiors)
Strong leadership, scheduling, and field coordination skills
Ability to read and interpret construction documents
