Senior Accountant
A well-established and growing organization is seeking an experienced
Senior Accountant
to support and oversee day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, and month-end close activities. This role will partner closely with finance leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy, compliance, and process efficiency.
Base pay range $80,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr
Responsibilities
Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP
Maintain general ledger integrity and ensure accurate financial reporting
Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate variances
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and documentation
Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements
Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiencies
Collaborate with operations, AP/AR, and finance leadership on ad hoc projects
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
3+ years of progressive accounting experience
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
Experience with ERP or accounting systems (manufacturing or project-based environments a plus) – Quickbooks preferred
Advanced Excel skills
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
