A growing, services-focused organization is seeking a seasoned
Vice President of Collections & Treasury Management
to lead enterprise-wide credit risk, collections, and treasury operations. This role is both
strategic and execution-focused , requiring a leader who is comfortable building processes, driving day-to-day outcomes, and partnering closely with operational and commercial teams to strengthen cash flow and financial discipline.
The ideal candidate thrives in environments that are evolving, values accountability, and is willing to engage directly in complex collection matters while developing scalable, long-term financial controls.
Key Responsibilities
Provide end-to-end leadership over
global credit, collections, and treasury operations , ensuring strong liquidity, disciplined cash management, and minimized credit exposure.
Develop, implement, and continuously refine
credit risk frameworks, policies, and approval processes
that balance growth objectives with financial protection.
Drive hands‑on oversight of the
collections function , including review of high‑risk accounts, escalation strategies, dispute resolution, and recovery efforts.
Partner closely with
Sales, Legal, Finance, AR, and Operations
to establish credit limits, evaluate customer risk, and resolve complex billing or payment issues.
Lead banking relationships, cash positioning, liquidity planning, and treasury operations to support working‑capital efficiency and operational needs.
Collaborate with FP&A and senior finance leaders on
cash forecasting, working‑capital optimization, and capital planning initiatives .
Monitor and improve key performance indicators including
DSO, bad debt exposure, and cash conversion metrics .
Build, mentor, and develop a high‑performing team while also remaining actively involved in tactical execution where needed.
Support enterprise‑wide initiatives that strengthen financial controls, scalability, and operational resilience.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in
Finance, Accounting, Business Administration , or a related discipline.
10+ years of progressive experience
in accounts receivable, credit, collections, treasury, or financial operations.
At least 5 years in a senior leadership role
with direct accountability for credit policy, collections performance, and risk management.
Demonstrated success in
reducing DSO, managing large AR portfolios, and enforcing credit standards
in a B2B environment.
Experience operating in
complex, multi‑entity or global environments
preferred.
Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict‑resolution skills, with the ability to influence internal stakeholders and external partners.
Comfortable operating in environments where structure is evolving and
leadership requires both strategy and execution .
Hybrid work model , combining remote flexibility with regular in‑office collaboration in the Alpharetta, GA area.
Competitive executive‑level compensation in the range of
$175,000–$200,000 , plus incentive opportunities.
