We are currently seeking an HR Generalist to support the daily functions of the Human Resources department, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance. This role assists in coordinating HR programs and policies while ensuring consistency and efficiency in the department’s operations.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with job postings, resume screening, and interview scheduling.

Coordinate pre‑employment activities such as background checks and new hire paperwork.

Facilitate employee onboarding and orientation processes.

Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding policies, benefits, and procedures.

Support HR staff in addressing employee concerns and maintaining a positive workplace culture.

Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS system.

Prepare reports, maintain compliance documentation, and assist with audits.

Coordinate employee status changes, terminations, and documentation updates.

Provide administrative support for benefit enrollments, changes, and questions.

Collaborate with payroll to ensure accurate employee data and timely processing.

Support coordination of training programs and employee development initiatives.

Track training participation and completion records.

Assist in ensuring HR processes comply with federal, state, and local regulations.

Help update and distribute HR policies and procedures as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in human resources preferred.

Experience in an HR support or coordinator role.

Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Ability to multi‑task and prioritize work.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with HRIS systems preferred.

Team player that understands the value of working collaboratively with other members of the DSN team.
