Senior HR Systems Analyst (HRIS Analyst)

Canonsburg, PA
Work Model:
Hybrid (Onsite Tuesday–Thursday | Remote Monday & Friday)
Role Overview
We are seeking a
Senior HR Systems Analyst (HRIS Analyst)
to support the implementation, optimization, and ongoing administration of HR systems for a newly independent, private equity‑backed organization. This role will play a foundational part in establishing HR technology, data integrity, and reporting capabilities during a critical transformation phase.
The ideal candidate brings strong HRIS ownership, hands‑on system experience, and the ability to partner cross‑functionally with HR, Payroll, Benefits, Finance, and IT teams.
Key Responsibilities
Act as HRIS subject matter expert during system implementation and stand‑up
Partner with external vendors to translate business and payroll requirements into system configuration
Support data conversion, validation, and user acceptance testing
Execute parallel testing and assist with go‑live readiness and documentation
Maintain accurate employee, job, compensation, and organizational data
Support employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, job changes, and offboarding
Perform routine audits, troubleshoot discrepancies, and implement corrective actions
Manage security roles and system access in compliance with business requirements
Develop and maintain standard and ad‑hoc HR reports and dashboards
Support workforce planning, headcount tracking, and compliance reporting
Translate HR data into actionable insights for HR and business leadership
Serve as first‑line HRIS support for system issues and enhancement requests
Participate in system upgrades, testing, and new functionality releases
Identify process gaps and recommend system‑driven improvements
Assist in developing SOPs, process maps, and HR documentation
Respond to employee and manager inquiries related to HR systems and self‑service
Create user guides and quick‑reference materials to support adoption
Partner with HR, IT, Finance, and vendors to align system functionality with business needs
Required Qualifications
3–6 years of experience in HRIS, HR Operations, or HR Technology roles
Strong understanding of HR data structures, workflows, and security protocols
Experience supporting HR system implementations, reporting, and troubleshooting
Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, evolving environment
Preferred Qualifications
Hands‑on experience with
Dayforce
or similar enterprise HRIS platforms
Experience in carve‑outs, start‑ups, or private equity‑backed organizations
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business, or related field
HR or HRIS certifications (HRIP, SHRM‑CP, or similar)
Location flexibility: Houston, TX preferred; Canonsburg, PA acceptable
Limited domestic travel (approximately 10%)
