Base pay range
$30.00/hr - $39.00/hr The Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and supporting the accounting and finance functions. This role is critical in maintaining compliance, monitoring cash flow, and providing timely financial insights to management. Key Responsibilities
Record daily financial transactions, including sales, purchases, and expenses. Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and vendor invoices. Process accounts payable and accounts receivable accurately and on time. Maintain general ledger and ensure proper coding of transactions. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Assist with payroll processing and related tax filings. Monitor inventory-related financial entries and support cost analysis for apparel products. Collaborate with management to provide financial data for budgeting and forecasting. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Support external audits and provide necessary documentation. Qualifications
Education:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. Experience:
2+ years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in retail or apparel industry. Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar). Strong knowledge of GAAP and basic tax principles. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively. Preferred Skills
Experience with inventory management systems. Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and POS systems. Knowledge of apparel industry financial practices.
