Job Details Jobot is partnering with a growing manufacturing company to staff a position as a Senior Accountant. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for the following:
Responsibilities
Month‑End Close: With the accounting team to complete the month‑end close process efficiently and accurately.
Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, reclassifications, and account reconciliations with a high degree of accuracy.
Account Reconciliations: Perform account reconciliations and clearing of discrepancies to ensure the accuracy of financial records.
Intercompany Transactions: Assist in the management and reconciliation of intercompany transactions.
Internal Controls: Identify control gaps and recommend process improvements to strengthen financial accuracy and reduce risk.
Accruals: Help with miscellaneous accruals to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Fixed Asset Management: Manage fixed assets, including the calculation and recording of monthly depreciation.
Lease Accounting: Support lease accounting processes, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
Accounting Processes: Help develop and refine accounting processes, closing checklists, standard operating procedures, documentation, and automation opportunities.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. • 4+ years of progressive, full‑cycle accounting experience. • Familiarity with federal, state, and local tax regulations and compliance requirements. • Excellent attention to detail, strong technical skills, and effective communication. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
