Family Law Paralegal (100% Remote – New Jersey)

About the Role
A growing family law practice is seeking an experienced Family Law Paralegal to join their team in a fully remote capacity. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, highly organized professional who is comfortable managing cases independently, supporting attorneys, and communicating with clients during often sensitive matters.
Key Responsibilities
Draft family law pleadings, motions, certifications, CIS, discovery requests/responses, and settlement agreements
Manage case files from intake through resolution
Prepare, organize, and file court documents electronically (eCourts/NJ)
Assist in trial preparation, mediation prep, and hearing preparation
Coordinate attorney and client calendars, court deadlines, and case schedules
Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
Conduct legal research as needed
Support attorneys in divorce, custody, child support, alimony, domestic violence, and other family law matters
Qualifications
5+ years of direct experience in New Jersey family law (Should be based out in NJ ONLY)
Strong understanding of NJ court procedures and e-filing
Excellent drafting and written communication skills
Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
Strong organizational, multitasking, and client communication skills
Experience with family law case management software (Clio, MyCase, Smokeball, etc.) preferred
Salary and Other Compensation
The annual salary for this position is between
$90,000 – $100,000 . The firm may be open to the higher end of the range for the right candidate. Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
