This position is responsible for assisting the Recycle Center Manager by exercising discretion and independent judgement to develop and train plant personnel to achieve Company Productivity, safety, and quality goals. This position will also demonstrate and lead workforce in compliance of all Company policies, Rules of Conduct, and Safety standards. Supervises the daily activities of the recycling center while ensuring operating procedures and excellent work standards are being met.

Minimum Qualifications
1-3 years of supervisor experience
Knowledge of OSHA and other related state and federal regulations.
Previous recycling experience or related industry work, preferred.
Previous production manufacturing experience, preferred.
Responsibilities
Work with the Recycling Manager to create short‑term and long‑term goals and action plans for the plant.
Analyze daily production reports and review with the plant manager.
Hire, train, and develop personnel for future growth and success.
Prepare and conduct employee reviews. This includes issuing discipline, suspensions and recommending terminations, as well as recommending potential increases to management for subordinate employees.
Help create and maintain a strong safety environment in the recycling plant in conjunction with the Recycling Plant Manager.
Control product with both quality and quantity to maximize sales and profits.
Monitor workforce to maximize processing volume and product quality.
Must be a hands‑on manager who is willing and capable to perform and coach staff members at multiple different positions within the recycle center.
All other duties as assigned by management.
