Transportation Planning Engineer/Project Manager WSP in the U.S. invites experienced Transportation Planning Engineers to step into a Project Manager role, contributing to a portfolio of high‑profile transportation projects across Canada and beyond.

Location On‑site in Winnipeg (open to candidates from Canada and the United States; relocation assistance available). Remote work not permitted.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with colleagues on data collection, analysis, and reporting for in‑field and in‑office technical tasks.

Apply best practices & identify innovative solutions in active transportation master planning, design assignments, and engineering analyses.

Develop progressive experience in project management and coordination.

Work with a multidisciplinary team of transportation/traffic engineers, planners, designers, and landscape architects.

Prepare and oversee technical memos and reports that communicate results and recommendations.

Attend and participate in client and public meetings.

Qualifications

A passion for transportation planning and design of multi‑modal solutions.

Undergraduate or Graduate Degree in Transportation Engineering.

P. Eng license.

5–8+ years of experience in transportation engineering and planning, including impact assessments, active transportation infrastructure design, and project management.

Strong technical writing and presentation skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Experience in traffic operations and site analysis.

Experience with transportation software (e.g., Synchro, SimTraffic, HCS, Sidra, VISSIM, VISTRO, Aimsun).

Ability to collaborate in a team environment and demonstrate leadership, communication, and customer‑relationship skills.

Compensation and Benefits Salary range: CAD 96,200 – 132,200.
