Summary The Senior Transportation Engineer will lead and supervise roadway design and plan development for a variety of transportation projects.
Key Responsibilities
Lead roadway design efforts for transportation infrastructure projects
Supervise and mentor junior engineering staff
Oversee project design, plan production, and quantity calculations
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project quality and timeliness
Support project management tasks and contribute to business development efforts
Qualifications
8+ years of roadway design experience, with an emphasis on corridor modeling
Professional Engineer (PE) license
Experience with NCDOT plan production and quantity calculations
Proficiency in MicroStation / GEOPAK (corridor modeling required)
Familiarity with OpenRoads Designer (ORD) preferred
Broad experience in MOT, Drainage, PMP, and Signing is a plus
