About the Opportunity A well-established automotive supplier in the Greater Fort Wayne area is seeking a
Facilities Manager
to oversee the maintenance, safety, and overall functionality of its plant operations. This role offers the chance to play a visible leadership role in a stable, growing organization that values continuous improvement and employee development.

Responsibilities
Oversee and manage all facility operations including building systems, utilities, and grounds.
Lead, train, and develop a team of 3 direct reports (maintenance/facilities staff).
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
Manage preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and extend equipment/building life.
Partner with plant leadership to support production goals through reliable facility operations.
Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and outside service providers.
Lead cost‑reduction and continuous improvement projects within the facilities function.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in facilities or maintenance leadership (automotive or manufacturing preferred).
Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical).
Proven supervisory experience with the ability to coach and develop a team.
Familiarity with OSHA and environmental compliance requirements.
Excellent problem‑solving, organizational, and communication skills.
Location Greater Fort Wayne, Indiana area. Onsite leadership role.
