What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Collaborate with product teams to ensure compliance requirements are integrated during the design and build phases
Lead governance efforts for compliance and risk oversight, documenting and tracking requirements through implementation
Provide subject matter support to teams in designing workflows, tooling, and reporting for compliance
Conduct compliance reviews and product risk assessments for new product launches
Educate and inform product and business teams on compliance and regulatory requirements
What is Required (Qualifications)
5+ years of experience managing a compliance program in the regulated financial services industry, preferably in fintech/payments and banking
Proven experience in evaluating emerging products for compliance risk and conducting compliance reviews
Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and financial crimes/AML practices relevant to a company like the employer
Excellent stakeholder management skills and experience managing distinct projects and programs
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
ACAMS, CRCM, or equivalent certification
Proficiency in SQL
