Position Overview

The

Nursing Operations Manager (NOM)

provides leadership and operational oversight for inpatient rehab nursing units. This role is accountable for achieving department and hospital goals in collaboration with medical staff and leadership teams.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage nursing operations for inpatient rehab units. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and patient safety protocols. Drive continuous improvement and evidence-based nursing practices. Manage budgets, staffing, and operational benchmarks. Serve as a liaison between nursing teams and administration. Promote a culture of collaboration, diversity, and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

Education: BSN required; MSN, DNP, or graduate degree in business/health-related field preferred. Licensure: Current RN license in Florida or Nurse Licensure Compact; BLS required. Certifications: ACLS, PALS, NALS, TNCC as applicable; ANCC or AONL leadership certification within 2 years. Experience: Minimum 2 years RN experience in acute care and 1 year in leadership.
