Horner & Shifrin is seeking a full-time Transportation Project Manager with 10+ years of experience.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Licensed professional engineer in Illinois
Interact and communicate with clients, vendors and staff of all levels
Ability to lead, manage and schedule staff to meet project needs
Track multiple projects simultaneously to keep jobs on schedule and under budget
Proficiency using Microsoft Office Products (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook)
Experience using at least one CADD platform (MicroStation or AutoCAD)
Knowledge of at least one highway design package (e.g., OpenRoads, Geopak, or Civil3D)
Critical thinking and analysis
Perform transportation engineering analyses and calculations
Prepare and write engineering and other reports
Coordinate and write responses to project solicitations
Maintain and develop strong client relationships
Develop business in the Illinois region
Field visits on rough terrain per project needs
A valid driver’s license and the ability to drive to and from job sites
Other duties as assigned

Experience working directly with the Illinois Department of Transportation and local municipalities
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
SALARY RANGE Horner & Shifrin, Inc. offers a comprehensive total rewards package and is committed to fair, competitive, market-based compensation. The target salary range for this position is $90,000 to $130,000. Compensation for the successful candidate will consider the candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, and geographic location.
