Horner & Shifrin is seeking a full-time Project Manager to join our Water Business Unit in Rogers, Arkansas. This position requires 10+ years of experience.
Position Responsibilities & Duties
Recognize and initiate business development opportunities
Perform and check environmental engineering calculations
Network with new and existing clients to effectively position for and develop work opportunities
Interface directly with clients on projects
Prepare contract proposals and cost estimates
Participate in the preparation and checking of environmental construction drawings
Responsible for the completion of assigned tasks within a project
Manage all project elements, including budget, schedule, and quality while striving to achieve both project profitability and client satisfaction
Oversee the production of effective and high-quality project documents (including reports, drawings, and specifications)
Manage project teams comprised of various engineering and environmental discipline specialists and associated subconsultants
Position Requirements
Licensed Professional Engineer
Experience in water, sewer, and wastewater design
Ability to lead, manage and schedule staff to meet project needs
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Excel, Word)
Proficient in the use of AutoCAD
Knowledge of one or more design software packages, including HEC-RAS, XP-SWMM, EPA-SWMM, SewerGems, InfoWater, WaterGems, BioWin, etc.
Must possess a valid driver’s license
Must complete a background check
Educational Requirements Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
Salary Range Salary will be commensurate with experience.
