What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Answer and direct calls for the medical, educational, and research facilities of the employer in a call center environment
Provide after-hours answering services for outpatient clinics
Assist with online physician call schedule changes as necessary
Activate emergency codes within the hospital and campus as required
Develop knowledge of employer services to provide community access and directions
What is Required (Qualifications):
High school diploma or GED equivalent plus two (2) years of customer service and administrative experience
Excellent customer service skills
Strong verbal communication skills
Basic computer and keyboard skills, telephone etiquette, and general knowledge of office machines
Ability to follow oral instructions and proficient reading and writing skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Previous call center experience
Familiarity with basic medical terminology
