Medical Practice Patient Representative Region B - Float Team
Medical Assistant - Float Team - Region B
Part‑time, Monday through Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
$2,000 SIGN‑ON BONUS (External Hires Only)
Region B:
Covers medical offices in Sharon, Millerton, Lagrangeville, Wappingers Falls, Hopewell, Fishkill.
Summary:
Provides clerical and administrative support and coordinates patient care activities for medical practice.
Responsibilities
Greets and welcomes patients upon arrival and communicates pleasantly and effectively.
Ensures accuracy of patient information, including demographics and insurance.
Answers phones, routes calls, takes messages, and ensures accurate communication both verbally and via the EMR system.
Registers, verifies, and schedules patient appointments, testing, and referrals.
Schedules and reschedules appointments according to office protocols.
Monitors applications and manages worklists as applicable.
Collects co‑pays and reconciles money for deposit.
Obtains and coordinates record retrieval for new and established patients.
Performs intake and processing of medical records and other documentation where applicable.
Fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the position.
Maintains and models the organization’s values.
Demonstrates regular, dependable, and predictable attendance.
Performs other duties as required.
Other Information Ability to travel between practices as needed.
Salary Range:
$18.13 – $34.50 per hour
Requirements
Must have experience as a Medical Assistant, CNA or PCT.
