Staff Accountant
to join our

This position is scheduled Monday-Thursday 7am – 4:30pm and Friday 7am – 3:30pm.
Job Summary The Staff Accountant supports the day-to-day accounting operations of the organization. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and assisting with month-end and year-end close processes. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and knowledgeable in accounting principles.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger
Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts, including bank and credit card reconciliations
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed
Prepare financial reports and schedules for management review
Assist with forecasting, and variance analysis
Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations
Maintain accurate and organized financial records
Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
1–3 years of accounting or related experience (internships may count)
Solid understanding of GAAP and general accounting practices
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP preferred)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good organizational and time-management skills
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong written and verbal communication
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
High level of integrity and professionalism
