NA Manufacturing MLM General Manager

The Material Logistics Management General Manager is responsible for complete operational oversight for safety, inventory control, material flow and process standardization for all North America divisions including Assembly, Powertrain and Stamping. The General Manager is the operational department head and is responsible for the holistic development of the MLM operations teams to grow future leaders. This individual will use analytics to develop the strategic direction for the MLM department in support of regional and corporate objectives. The General Manager is held accountable for management and allocation of department financial resources, and interpreting and communicating corporate business directives. Responsible for interacting with Supply Chain Management, Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Production and External Partners to resolve top issues related to Supplier performance and impact to Manufacturing Operations. The General Manager participates in and promotes lean Stellantis Production Way activities.
Responsibilities
Responsible for Talent Development including Salary Employee Hiring, Retention, Rotational Development, Mentorship, Performance and Stellantis Production Way Involvement
Lead Strategic Vision for MLM Department Key Process Indicator (KPI) initiatives to identify and attack top business losses
Participate and support the individual Plant Strategic Vision development and execution from a MLM perspective
Oversee the accurate completion of Audit Management Activities including Product Process SOX Audit, MQGR ISO Audit, Stellantis Production Way Lean Audit
Adherence and application of Stellantis Production Way Logistics Standards
Leverages AI and Automation Technology to improve regional manpower, material handing and material flow efficiencies
Interacts with all levels of the organization including bargaining and non-bargaining hourly and salary employees as well as executive leadership
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business or a related field
Minimum 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment focused in production control, supply chain or material handling
Demonstrated ability to solve complex issues as well as manage through all aspects of the daily business including escalation and communication as required
Experience in setting strategic direction, leading and developing a department team
Ability to demonstrate lean manufacturing knowledge and application
Ability to implement, sustain and improve new or existing material flow processes and inventory control strategies
Excellent oral and written communication skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree in related field

Experience Working in a Unionized Environment
