Location: Windsor Locks, CT.

Compensation & Benefits $26.00 per hour up to $35.00 per hour depending on experience plus a $2,500 sign‑on bonus.

4‑day work week: Thursday – Saturday 5:30 pm – 5:30 am and Wednesday 11:30 pm – 5:30 am.

Position Summary Perform preventative maintenance of medium‑to‑heavy‑duty trucks, trailers, reefer units and converter dollies. Ensure compliance with state and federal trucking regulations, maintain detailed documentation via the online Enterprise Asset Management system, and perform road‑call services as needed.

Primary Responsibilities

Complete preventive maintenance on fleet diesel equipment and minor repairs, identifying root causes of failures.

Ensure equipment licensing and registration before road‑worthiness checks.

Maintain detailed work‑order documentation and record all repairs.

Install, replace, and repair onboard computers.

Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings, and replace parts as required.

Perform routine maintenance: oil changes, battery checks, lubrication, and use of hand and power tools.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.

Experience: 2+ years in medium‑to‑heavy‑duty vehicle repair – PM’s, tires, wheels, air & air‑disc brakes, diagnosis, computerized diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, electronic component repair, and A/C refrigeration.

Additional Information Seniort level: Entry level.
