Optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency, cost reduction, and quality improvement. Design, develop, and implement new manufacturing processes and equipment. Analyze process data to identify root causes of issues and implement corrective actions. Develop and maintain process documentation, including SOPs, flowcharts, and P&IDs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives. Monitor process performance using statistical tools and conduct process capability studies. Ensure processes comply with safety, environmental, and quality regulations. Recommended Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering. 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably continuous process. Proficiency in process optimization methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) and statistical analysis. Experience with process control systems (DCS, PLC) and instrumentation. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex process issues and implement effective solutions. Strong understanding of safety protocols and quality management systems. Bonus Qualifications
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification Proficiency in advanced process simulation software (e.g., Arena, FlexSim) Experience with specific Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or ERP (e.g., SAP PP) Familiarity with automation and control systems (PLCs, SCADA) Job Titles That Should Apply
