Overview
A growing manufacturing operation is seeking a hands‑on finance professional to support plant-level accounting, cost control, and operational financial reporting. The position plays a key role in maintaining financial integrity, and supporting disciplined decision‑making across the facility.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary financial resource for plant operations, providing insight into costs, spending trends, and operational performance
Maintain accurate accounting for inventory, fixed assets, and related balance sheet accounts, including regular reconciliations
Analyze manufacturing costs, spending patterns, and performance metrics; investigate variances and communicate findings to leadership
Support the month‑end close process, including journal entries, accruals, and financial reviews tied to plant activity
Assist with standard cost maintenance, product cost updates, and setup for new or changing production items
Track capital investments and support financial oversight of equipment purchases and improvement projects
Participate in annual planning and budgeting
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
Prior experience supporting manufacturing, plant, or cost‑focused accounting environments
Working knowledge of inventory accounting, standard costing, and operational variance analysis
Strong analytical skills with the ability to explain financial results to non‑finance stakeholders
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across plant operations and corporate finance
