Junior Estimator Hollywood, FL | $65,000 – $90,000 DOE + Benefits
About the Opportunity We’ve partnered with a growing general contractor that delivers luxury high‑rise residential and commercial projects throughout South Florida. They are seeking a Junior Estimator who is eager to gain exposure to large‑scale projects and grow with the team. This role is designed for someone with 1+ years of estimating experience who wants to take their career to the next level. You’ll receive direct mentorship from senior leadership and be exposed to every stage of the pre‑construction process.
What You’ll Do
Assist with detailed take‑offs, cost estimates, and bid proposals for high‑rise and commercial projects
Support subcontractor outreach, bid management, and scope review
Maintain estimating databases, vendor contacts, and software records
Participate in site walks, pre‑bid meetings, and estimate reviews
Prepare Invitations to Bid (ITBs) and Requests for Quotes (RFQs); follow up with subcontractors
Contribute to value engineering and cost‑saving discussions
Document lessons learned to support continuous improvement
What We’re Looking For
1+ years of estimating experience (high‑rise or commercial preferred)
Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent hands‑on experience
Familiarity with construction drawings, scopes, and estimating methods
Proficiency with Excel, Bluebeam, On‑Screen Takeoff (or similar); Procore/BuildingConnected a plus
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
