Job Overview As a financial advisor with Edward Jones, you will build and grow your own practice, with support from branch associates, a home‑office team and regional advisors. You will help clients achieve long‑term financial goals while working in a team‑focused, client‑centric environment that emphasizes integrity, inclusivity, and community impact.
Key Responsibilities
Build relationships to create new clients via face‑to‑face and virtual sourcing strategies (e.g., residential, business, networking, introductions and referrals, social media, and speaking engagements).
Deeply understand clients’ needs, priorities, and concerns to develop personalized, comprehensive strategies that accelerate trust and help clients achieve their goals.
Oversee branch processes, roles, and responsibilities to ensure a high‑quality, streamlined client experience consistent with firm policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and ethical guidelines.
Engage the branch team to create, monitor, and adjust the branch business plan to increase effectiveness and achieve desired business results.
Create a highly engaging environment in the branch based on mutual trust, respect, feedback, and accountability.
Complete ongoing training offered by the firm and regulatory authorities, and maintain registrations and licenses in good standing.
Operate from a firm‑provided branch office in the community.
Utilize client support to lighten the load and focus on client relationships.
Work independently while benefiting from a broad support network that extends from the local client support team to regional, home‑office, and national resources.
