The Corporate Treasury team is responsible for managing the company’s cash, debt, equity, capital, and liquidity positions. This role offers significant exposure and impact on the company’s corporate finance profile and strategic outlook, as well as tremendous professional development in a high‑paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Support future debt and equity financing transactions through the production of data analytics, forecasts, presentations and assisting with corresponding due diligence process.

Monitor and produce key metrics including leverage and coverage ratios, weighted average cost of capital, and other Treasury and capital structure metrics.

Assist in growing spread lending program, including coordination and execution of borrowings with Federal Home Loan banks and Farmer Mac.

Prepare documentation and materials to support quarterly financial reporting for Spread Lending product line and other Treasury related disclosures.

Assist with execution of Equitable’s capital return program, including dividends and share repurchases and track progress towards stated goals.

Prepare quarterly credit facility covenant reporting and compliance packages.

Manage calendar and execution of debt service across the capital structure.

Monitor the company’s bank scorecard to facilitate the balance of trade between Equitable and banking partners.

Keep up to date with capital markets, credit ratings, interest rates, and other KPIs relevant to the company's capital markets, debt, and spread lending programs.

Ad hoc projects as assigned by Treasury leadership.

Who You’ll Work With

Report to the Head of Funding and work closely with Treasury and Finance leadership.

Collaborate with Legal, business partners, Investments, and external parties (banks, rating agencies, etc.).

Office Location : The role will be based in our Charlotte, NC or New York, NY office.

In office schedule : This team member will work in‑office 2-3 days per week.

Base salary range: $85,000 - $115,000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. Equitable provides additional compensation opportunities.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with a major in finance, accounting, and/or economics preferred.

2+ years of experience in treasury, corporate finance, investment management or other related field.

Established financial modeling skills and experience with short and long‑term forecasting.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with corporate debt and equity structures, including modeling of debt and equity transactions, and analyzing financial risk.

Experience with spread lending programs at insurance companies and understanding of various spread lending product types.

Experience with Federal Home Loan Banks and/or Farmer Mac.

Ability to develop cross‑functional relationships to build cohesive and collaborative teams.

Effective communication and presentation skills for internal and external stakeholders and partners.

Executive presence required to present to senior management.

Detail‑oriented and produces exceptional deliverables.

Established critical thinking, sound judgment, complex problem‑solving and execution skills.

Proven initiative and motivation to learn about all aspects of the company's business model.

Skills Financial Forecasting and Modeling: Knowledge of processes, tools and techniques of financial forecasting and modeling; ability to explore and evaluate alternative financial scenarios and results.

Financial Reporting: Knowledge of processes, methods, and tools of financial reporting; ability to create and maintain accurate and thorough financial reports.

Institutional Finance: Knowledge of finance, financial methods, tools and strategies; ability to employ them in private and public corporations.

Investments: Knowledge of the investments business; ability to analyze and evaluate asset types, market and industry trends, major issues, and regulatory considerations.

Liquidity Management: Knowledge of liquidity management; ability to utilize the tools, techniques, and acceptable business practices associated with managing a client’s short‑term cash position for optimum benefit.

Strategic Thinking: Knowledge of the importance of "big picture" thinking and planning; ability to apply organizational acumen and competitiveness to identify and maintain focus on key success factors for the organization.

Treasury Management: Knowledge of the principles and methods of managing treasury; ability to use tools, techniques and processes to maximize the value of an organization’s financial assets and revenue while minimizing risk.

Treasury Services: Knowledge of treasury services; ability to properly use treasury products and services, and adopt business practices that are in use by banks, financial services institutions, major corporations, governments and other entities.
