Staff Accountant
– Soni Responsibilities: Support general ledger accounting activities for both the head office and domestic and international branch locations. Prepare and post journal entries in accordance with GAAP and internal policies. Perform monthly bank and general ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy and timely recording of transactions. Conduct expense variance analyses comparing actual results to prior year figures. Assist with quarterly and annual tax analyses and filings for multiple entities. Prepare schedules and analyses to support annual audits, including pension audits. Document and maintain accounting policies and procedures. Support the month-end close process to ensure accurate financial reporting. Contribute to annual budget preparation and related financial planning activities. Coordinate with branch offices and internal departments to resolve accounting and reporting issues. Handle ad hoc projects such as real estate filings, government surveys, and special financial analyses. Requirements: 3+ years general accounting experience GL & Month End close Bachelors in accounting/finance Preferred Skills: Organizations skills Soft skills, well spoken, ability to present data to legal teams Compensation:
