Business Development Manager (BDM) Overview The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for driving company growth through strategic relationship building, online outreach, and diversified client acquisition channels. This role focuses on developing long-term partnerships, generating new business opportunities, and strengthening the company’s market presence both online and offline.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain strong relationships with referral partners, clients, and strategic stakeholders.

Identify, pursue, and manage new business opportunities.

Maintain consistent follow-up to nurture long-term partnerships.

Serve as a primary point of contact for key accounts.

Online Relationship Building

Proactively engage potential clients and partners through email outreach, LinkedIn, and other professional social platforms.

Manage inbound leads from websites, online ads, and digital campaigns.

Represent the company professionally in online discussions, groups, and forums.

Support digital marketing efforts by identifying lead sources and trends.

Client Acquisition Channels

Develop relationships with property managers, HOAs, contractors, trade partners, insurance professionals, and commercial and residential clients.

Attend networking events, trade shows, and industry meetings to identify new referral and partnership opportunities.

Track and manage leads through CRM or job management systems.

Sales & Strategy

Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly growth targets.

Provide feedback on market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.

Assist in developing sales strategies and outreach campaigns.

Collaborate with operations and marketing teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients.

Qualifications & Skills

Proven experience in business development, sales, or relationship management.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Comfortable with online outreach, CRM tools, and digital platforms.

Self‑motivated with strong time‑management skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Professional, reliable, and goal‑oriented.

Preferred (but not required)

Experience in construction, restoration, property services, or related industries.

Existing network of referral partners.

Knowledge of online lead platforms and local market outreach.
