Low Voltage Technician
We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of low voltage systems, including CCTV, access control, and audio/video systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Install and configure low voltage systems such as CCTV, access control, and audio/video systems.
Perform troubleshooting and repairs on low voltage systems to ensure optimal performance.
Utilize test equipment to diagnose and resolve issues with low voltage installations.
Ensure all installations are compliant with safety standards and regulations.
Collaborate with project management to complete installations on time and within budget.
Provide technical support and training to clients on system operation and maintenance.
Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
Qualifications
4-7 years of experience as a Low Voltage Technician or similar role.
Proven experience as a Low Voltage Technician or similar role.
Proficient in installing and troubleshooting CCTV, access control, and audio/video systems.
Familiarity with test equipment and tools related to low voltage systems.
Knowledge of safety standards and compliance regulations pertaining to low voltage installations.
Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Relevant certifications in low voltage technology or electrical systems are a plus.
