LHH is partnering with a prestigious large law firm client to assist in recruiting an experienced Corporate and Business Associate for the firm's Birmingham, Alabama office.

Experience Sought
Representing public and/or private companies in connection with mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures. Private equity experience is a plus.
Conducting due diligence in connection with M&A transactions.
Creating and analyzing contracts, shareholder agreements, and other legal documents.
Assisting in entity formations and dissolutions, and advising on corporate governance matters
Experience advising on securities and SEC reporting matters is a plus but not required.
Qualifications
2+ years of experience at another large law firm or sophisticated corporate/business boutique firm.
JD from a T100 law school with outstanding academic credentials.
Licensed in good standing in Alabama, or in current jurisdiction with ability to become licensed in Alabama.
