Overview The Human Resources Generalist has a broad knowledge base in all aspects of HR, including the application of HR policies, practices and tools relevant to the entire employee lifecycle. The HR Generalist will report to the HR Director and support daily functions related to recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, compliance, and maintenance of the HRIS, ATS and Performance Management systems. This versatile role supports both employees and managers in day-to-day HR operations and serves as the main point of contact for employee inquiries and general requests. The position works with the HR Director to foster a positive work environment while ensuring efficient operations and providing general HR support to a results-focused and highly engaged employee base.
Location and eligibility This is a remote, work-from-home position that requires residency near Cleveland, OH – No Exceptions.
Responsibilities
Possess a general knowledge in all things HR, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, benefits, payroll and compliance.
Recruit, source, interview, and facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions in a high-volume, high-growth organization. Collaborate with multiple departments and hiring managers to review, track and monitor the recruitment process and align on role requirements and skills.
Conduct new team member onboarding sessions and oversee completion of onboarding requirements.
Maintain company HRIS, ATS and Performance Management systems.
Assist with the quarterly Employee Engagement Survey process, including facilitation, communications, tracking of responses and follow-up on action items.
Support efforts for annual benefits open enrollment, ensuring timely communication and enrollment completion.
Facilitate internal training programs relevant to AgencyBloc’s SOC2 and HITRUST certifications and coordinate compliance requirements as needed.
Assist with the compensation program including the annual merit increase process.
Ensure employee files and required documents or agreements are kept up to date and in compliance with employment laws.
Maintain the AgencyBloc intranet site with up-to-date company information and events.
Assist with HR documentation and record-keeping including employment agreements, company policies and procedures, job descriptions and job postings.
Additional duties as assigned by the manager.
Skills, Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or a related field.
4+ years of HR Generalist experience with a strong understanding of HR functions.
Technically savvy with HRIS platforms and administration.
Proficient with Google Suite, Microsoft Office or related software.
Proven ability to handle a variety of HR inquiries professionally and efficiently.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
SHRM or PHR certification preferred.
Previous SaaS/Tech industry experience preferred but not required.
Detail-oriented and highly organized; able to collaborate with diverse groups.
