Job Overview As a financial advisor with Edward Jones, you will develop and grow your own practice, supported by branch associates, a home‑office team, and other regional advisors. You will build client relationships and deliver tailored solutions that meet their unique, complex needs, leveraging our long‑standing, client‑first philosophy.

Our business model is based on a single advisor and a single branch office administrator dedicated to client relationships. The advisor leads the branch, while the administrator manages day‑to‑day operations. This structure provides 100% support, world‑class products, services and back‑office tools, and the stability of a firm built on a long‑term investment philosophy.

Key Responsibilities

Build relationships and generate new clients via face‑to‑face and virtual sourcing strategies, such as residential, business, networking, introductions and referrals, social media, and speaking engagements.

Deeply understand clients’ and prospects’ needs, priorities, and concerns to accelerate trust and create personalized, comprehensive strategies.

Oversee branch processes, roles, and responsibilities to ensure a high‑quality, streamlined client experience that is consistent with firm policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical guidelines.

Engage the branch team to create, monitor, and adjust the branch business plan to increase effectiveness and achieve desired business results.

Create a highly engaging environment of mutual trust, respect, feedback, and accountability.

Complete ongoing training offered by the firm and regulatory authorities, including maintaining registrations and licenses in good standing.

Candidate Qualifications

Series 7 and Series 66 required.

Experience in financial services working with clients, in‑depth knowledge of investment products, and a track record of success.

State insurance licenses preferred.

Preferred additional professional designations such as CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, CRPC®, or Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor®.
