Manage full-cycle recruitment for production, technical, and administrative roles, ensuring a pipeline of qualified candidates. Provide guidance and support on employee relations issues, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution on the shop floor. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local labor laws, as well as company policies and safety regulations relevant to a manufacturing environment. Administer and oversee comprehensive onboarding programs, including mandatory safety training and facility tours for new hires. Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives related to training, talent development, and succession planning for manufacturing operations. Process payroll data, administer benefits programs, and manage HRIS records for all plant employees. Act as a primary point of contact for employees regarding HR-related inquiries, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Recommended Qualifications
Experience as an HR Generalist in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Proficient knowledge of federal and state employment laws (e.g., FMLA, ADA, FLSA, OSHA). Demonstrated ability in employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management. Experience with full-cycle recruitment for a diverse workforce, including production and skilled trades. Strong understanding of HRIS systems, payroll processes, and benefits administration. Bonus Qualifications
Experience with HR in a unionized manufacturing environment. Demonstrated understanding of manufacturing operations, such as lean principles or production scheduling.
