1. Overview
The Human Resources Specialist supports the day-to-day HR operations of the organization. This role focuses on administrative HR tasks, employee support, recruitment assistance, compliance, and maintaining accurate employee records while ensuring HR policies and procedures are followed. 2. Key Responsibilities
Recruitment Support
Assist with job postings on job boards and internal systems Screen resumes and schedule interviews Coordinate communication with candidates throughout the hiring process Support onboarding and offboarding activities HR Administration
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and files Process new hire paperwork and employment documentation Track employee attendance, PTO, and leave requests Support HR systems and databases Employee Support
Serve as a point of contact for basic employee questions Assist employees with HR-related inquiries (policies, benefits, payroll processes) Escalate complex employee relations issues to the HR Manager Compliance & Documentation
Ensure HR documentation is complete and compliant with labor regulations Assist with audits, compliance reviews, and internal reporting Support confidentiality and data protection standards Payroll & Benefits Assistance
Assist with payroll data collection and verification Support benefits enrollment and employee benefits administration Coordinate with accounting or payroll providers as needed Training & HR Programs
Assist in coordinating training sessions and employee development programs Track completion of required trainings Support performance review cycles and HR initiatives 3. Deliverables
Accurate and organized employee records Timely recruitment and onboarding support Properly documented HR processes Efficient employee support and communication Compliance-ready HR documentation 4. Authority & Decision-Making
Authority to handle routine HR tasks and employee requests Ability to recommend process improvements to the HR Manager No authority to make final disciplinary or termination decisions 5. Reporting Structure
Reports directly to the Human Resources Manager or designated leadership Works closely with recruitment, accounting, and operations teams 6. Performance Expectations
High accuracy and attention to detail Timely response to employee and candidate inquiries Strong organizational and communication skills Consistent compliance with company policies and procedures
