Talent Specialist at LHH (Formerly Accounting Principals) LHH Recruitment Solutions is assisting our client in their search for a Payroll Specialist to join their team in Columbus, OH. This position will mostly focus on payroll in high volume. The ideal candidate will have a strong payroll background including reviewing timesheets for missed punches, processing payroll and answering employees payroll questions. This position will be contract only at least for now. Our client is ready to make a move for the right candidate!
Responsibilities
Review timesheets for missing punches and getting corrected before processing
Investigate out of compliance activities on timesheets to determine validity
Communicate with managers to verify timesheet information if needed
Research uncashed checks
Qualifications
At least 2 years of payroll experience
Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
Very comfortable with vlookups and pivot tables in Excel
ADP and Workday experience helpful
Seniority level Associate
