The Human Resources Coordinator supports day‑to‑day human resources operations across the employee lifecycle, including recruiting and onboarding coordination, employee relations support, HR administration, and compliance. This role serves as a key point of contact for employees and managers, helping ensure consistent HR practices, accurate documentation, and a positive employee experience in a fast‑paced, multi‑state environment.
Key Responsibilities Employee Relations & HR Support
Serve as a first point of contact for employee questions related to policies, procedures, benefits, and general HR matters
Provide guidance to employees on HR processes and escalates complex employee relations issues to HR Business Partners as appropriate
Support employee relations activities such as documentation, attendance tracking, corrective action records, and follow‑up
Assist HR Business Partners with investigations by gathering documentation, notes, and timelines as needed
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive employee matters
Recruiting Logistics
Coordinate recruiting logistics for hourly and salaried roles, including interview scheduling and candidate communication
Support job postings and candidate tracking in the ATS
Coordinate pre‑employment processes such as background checks, drug screens, and offer documentation
Execute onboarding from offer acceptance through Day 1 readiness, including new hire paperwork, I‑9, E‑Verify, and orientation coordination
HR Administration & Employee Lifecycle
Process employee transactions in HRIS, including hires, transfers, promotions, leaves, and terminations
Maintain accurate employee records and personnel files in compliance with record‑retention requirements
Support off‑boarding processes, including exit documentation and benefits notifications
HRIS, Reporting & Data Accuracy
Maintain data integrity in HR systems and ATS
Run standard HR reports related to headcount, turnover, onboarding, and compliance
Audit records and resolve discrepancies in coordination with HR, Payroll, and Operations
Benefits & Employee Support
Assist with benefits administration, including enrollments, life events, and eligibility tracking
Support Open Enrollment activities and employee communications
Respond to employee questions regarding benefits programs and escalates complex issues as needed
Compliance & Documentation
Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment requirements
Track required documentation such as I‑9s, certifications, acknowledgements, and training records
Assist with audits, inspections, and internal reviews
Qualifications Required
1–3 years of experience in HR coordination, HR administration, or generalist support
Experience supporting employee relations processes and HR documentation
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
Proficiency with HRIS systems, ATS platforms, and Microsoft Office
Preferred
Experience in multi‑state, hourly workforce environments
Exposure to employee relations investigations or corrective action processes
Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or operations‑driven settings
