Maintenance Technician
to help keep our student housing community running smoothly. In this role, you’ll complete work orders, respond to maintenance needs quickly, and support a positive student experience through high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service. Proven experience in
maintenance, building repair, or facilities work
(student housing or multifamily experience preferred) HVAC certification or strong HVAC repair experience preferred Strong working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems Ability to troubleshoot issues and complete repairs independently and efficiently Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to safety practices Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stay active throughout your shift Friendly, professional, and comfortable interacting with students, staff, and vendors Understanding of
cost-effective maintenance practices
and the importance of working within established
budget guidelines
for supplies and repairs What You’ll Be Doing
Complete
maintenance and repair work orders
for student units and common areas Troubleshoot and repair
HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance issues Conduct
preventative maintenance
to reduce downtime and ensure building systems run smoothly Prepare rooms/units for turnover during move-in and move-out periods Maintain cleanliness and organization in maintenance shops and storage areas Support
after-hours emergency maintenance
on a rotating on-call schedule Assist the on-site team in upholding a well-maintained, safe, and student-ready community Hourly Rate:
$22.00 - $32.00/hr based on experience Quarterly Bonus Opportunities Paid Time Off:
