Program Manager II

Location Talladega, Alabama – the program will be based here with periodic travel to customer sites and affiliate sites in Israel.
Core Responsibilities and Tasks
Manage the LP HUD product for the ACS Program, reporting to the ACS Program Director.
Ensure alignment between Elbit America, ELOP, and ESL on LPHUD production and sustainment.
Develop Monthly Sustainment and Production LP HUD Delivery plans and coordinate operations, supply, quality, and engineering to execute them.
Maintain and brief LP HUD Sustainment and Production LOB to internal and external customers (e.g., Boeing), including repair and production processes and related subcomponent details.
Assist in production transition and align stakeholder functions.
Prepare weekly reports and briefings for Boeing and internal customers.
Ensure CWTs are in place for sustainment and production deliveries.
Identify and mitigate risks to sustainment and production programs.
Provide inputs for repair and production proposals.
Oversee accountability for RCCA completions for LP HUD.
Additional Responsibilities
Set high performance standards for self and team; coach through changing priorities.
Communicate program objectives and strategic value to the team.
Develop detailed project or program plans using company policies and industry best practices.
Lead assigned project teams to achieve delivery and quality goals.
Prepare and interpret risk, opportunity, and financial reports to anticipate problems and recommend corrective actions.
Work with finance and business leadership to forecast new business, sales, and gross profit for operating plans.
Identify continuous improvement opportunities to meet customer requirements.
Build and maintain close customer relationships, anticipate needs, and creatively address issues.
Assure customer satisfaction in product performance, delivery, cost, and scope.
Provide detailed program performance, risk assessments, and improvement opportunities to leadership.
Coordinate with marketing and support proposal development and implementation.
Assist in contract negotiation strategies with customers and suppliers to meet financial objectives.
Plan and execute programs per contractual obligations, managing performance of suppliers and affiliates.
Conduct periodic program reviews, present scorecards, and collect performance feedback.
Ensure manufacturability efforts and smooth production transition in coordination with Operations and Engineering.
Support technical discussions to meet all technical requirements.
Act as a steward for company policies and best practices to achieve quality goals.
Perform other job‑related tasks as assigned by manager.
Education, Experience & Certification
Bachelor’s degree required.
3+ years of functional experience required.
3–5 years of program management experience.
PMP® Certification preferred.
Skills and Abilities
Critical thinking, analysis, and interpretation of information.
Ability to build and maintain constructive customer relationships.
Understanding of industry trends and competitive strategies.
Knowledge or experience in the applicable technical area or product line.
Experience leading teams through all five project management phases.
