What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Act as a liaison between the employer, customers, and patients
Resolve routine customer requests and recalculations via inbound and outbound calls or email
Provide additional customer education and information as needed
Notify clients of test results in a timely and accurate manner
Perform administrative support for medical record management and ensure HIPAA compliance
What is Required (Qualifications)
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
Previous experience in a customer service role
Experience working in a contact center or call center environment is preferred
Intermediate to advanced computer skills required, including knowledge of Microsoft Office
Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent ability to listen and respond
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is highly preferred
Prior healthcare industry experience, such as in a physician's office or hospital
Experience with Salesforce.com and/or Laboratory Information Systems
Excellent multitasking abilities and flexibility to manage changing priorities
Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred
