Responsibilities
Ensure patient safety by identifying the correct patient, identifying special needs, and preparing isolation precautions for patients with infectious disease indicators.
Provide assistance and services to patients, families, staff, and external agencies in the accurate completion of patient registration, admission, and scheduling. Investigate and resolve customer requests, questions, or problems according to Cincinnati Children’s policies and procedures.
Maintain confidentiality, protect and safeguard patient and family personal medical and financial information at all times throughout collection, use, and storage.
Complete and authenticate all documents and questionnaires to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies (JCAHO, CMS, ODH).
Support the Revenue Cycle, Health Information Management, and Regulatory teams by ensuring that the necessary data, information, and forms are accurately entered into the appropriate system. Communicate system errors or recommend changes to management.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
No directly related experience required.

Weekly Hours: 40
Pay Range: $17.49 - $20.99 annualized (may vary based on FTE status).
