Our client is seeking an accomplished Business Development Manager to lead growth across Eastern Ohio. This position is a critical part of the company’s commercial expansion strategy, focused on strengthening existing customer partnerships while driving new end‑user business in key industries including oil & gas, chemical processing, power generation, steel, water/wastewater, and general manufacturing.
The successful candidate will combine technical knowledge of pumps and sealing systems with strong commercial skills to deliver engineered solutions, create value for customers, and ensure sustainable sales growth across the region.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a territory sales strategy to increase market share and revenue across both new and existing accounts.
Build and maintain long‑term relationships with plant engineers, maintenance leaders, procurement teams, and reliability professionals.
Identify opportunities for new equipment, retrofits, service contracts, and spare parts aligned to customers’ operational and reliability goals.
Deliver compelling technical presentations and product demonstrations to highlight their value proposition and lifecycle cost savings.
Collaborate with inside sales, service, and engineering teams to ensure seamless execution and superior customer satisfaction.
Maintain accurate pipeline management and reporting through CRM tools, providing clear sales forecasts and activity updates.
Act as a brand ambassador for at industry trade shows, technical seminars, and professional events.
Consistently meet or exceed defined sales targets and territory growth objectives.
