Mission description: Ensure customer satisfaction by acting as the liaison for customers to the global Safran Power Units family.

Responsibilities and Duties

Coordinate accurate and timely communications between customers and Safran Power Units personnel to ensure customer satisfaction.

Monitor production and MRO schedules to ensure delivery schedule compliance.

Induct customer equipment into the repair process.

Receive, review and act upon solicitations, requests for quotes and customer purchase orders while ensuring compliance with export control requirements.

Advise executive management on government contracting and procurement practices to ensure compliance with all applicable directives.

Administer contracts, including amendments or extensions, invoicing and collections, to maintain deep knowledge of customer requirements and satisfaction.

Proactively seek ways to improve service and add value for the group and customer.

Prepare required reports for external customers, internal customers, DCMA, DCAA and others to meet contract reporting requirements.

Travel required (5%), including international.

Required Competencies

Excellent interpersonal skills with 2–5 years of related customer support experience in a technical enterprise, preferably aerospace.

Associate’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Intermediate level in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience using SAP.

Initiative to look ahead and propose solutions to questions customers have not yet asked.

Ability to multitask in a flexible environment.

Knowledge of professional practices, sources of information, and rules and regulations (FARs, DFARs, and export control) that must be interpreted, adapted, and applied to the company’s and customers’ unique requirements.

Demonstrated project management experience, including filing, record‑keeping, preparation of proposals, and knowledge of contractual agreements.
