About the Role The M365 Lead Developer will design, develop, and implement Microsoft 365 solutions to support enterprise collaboration, communication, and productivity. This role requires hands‑on expertise in SharePoint Online, Teams, Power Platform, and Microsoft Graph API, along with experience integrating and automating business processes across the M365 ecosystem. The individual will mentor developers and collaborate with solution architects to deliver scalable, secure, and high‑performing solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and customize solutions using Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Teams, Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI), and related technologies.
Build and maintain custom applications, workflows, and integrations using SPFx, Graph API, Azure Functions, and PowerShell scripting.
Lead and mentor the M365 development team, ensuring high‑quality deliverables and adherence to best practices.
Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and clients to translate requirements into technical designs.
Support tenant‑to‑tenant migrations and ensure smooth transition of M365 workloads (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive).
Implement and maintain security and compliance configurations aligned with Microsoft best practices.
Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and troubleshooting for M365 applications.
Stay updated with emerging Microsoft technologies and recommend improvements to existing solutions.
Required Skills & Experience
8–12 years of experience in Microsoft 365 development and administration.
Proficiency in SharePoint Framework (SPFx), React, TypeScript, C#, and PowerShell scripting.
Deep understanding of Microsoft Graph API, Azure AD / Entra ID, and M365 authentication mechanisms.
Experience developing and integrating solutions using Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
Hands‑on experience with Azure services such as Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and Azure DevOps.
Familiarity with Microsoft Defender, Purview, and Sentinel for security and compliance enablement.
Strong understanding of tenant management, governance, and lifecycle management within M365.
Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep is a plus.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Microsoft certifications such as MS-600, PL-400, or MS-700 are highly desirable.
