The Keller Group is looking for a
Senior Accountant
for our growing Phoenix based client. This role is responsible for the month end close, fixed assets, revenue recognition and more. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys collaborating across departments and has a positive team-oriented attitude.
Responsibilities:
Manage the month-end and year-end close processes with precision and efficiency.
Responsible for general ledger account management, bank account reconciliations, prepaids, fixed asset tracking and accounting and revenue recognition.
Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
Collaborate closely with the VP of Finance on budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
Work cross-functionally with operations teams to ensure accuracy and alignment in financial reporting
Assist with process improvements and system enhancements
Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles.
Proficiency in accounting software, databases and Microsoft Office.
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
