Registered Nurse (RN) - Surgical Unit (Full‑Time Days Shift)
Location: Austell, Georgia (On‑site).
Pay Range:
$33.00–$59.00 per hour. Benefits include health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (subject to location).

Exemplary Practice & Patient Outcomes
Perform the full nursing process using evidence‑based practice.
Provide relationship‑based, patient‑centered care tailored to age, diagnosis, and cultural needs.
Partner with patients and families through teaching, updates, and collaborative care planning.
Practice according to current clinical standards and nursing guidelines.
Coordinate delivery of safe, high‑quality nursing care.
Use interdisciplinary communication methods (rounds, case reviews, collaborative planning).
Participate in system‑wide performance improvement and shared governance.
Support team retention, engagement, and efficient unit operations.
Professional Development & Initiative
Complete all required education, competencies, and population‑specific trainings.
Serve as a preceptor or mentor for nurses, students, and other disciplines.
Contribute to a healthy, professional work environment.
Evidence‑Based Practice & Research
Promote and participate in evidence‑based practice and research utilization.
Engage in product evaluation and clinical decision‑making processes.
Follow all legal, regulatory, accreditation, and safety standards.
Assist with data collection and application of research findings to practice questions.
Resources & Support
Plan proactively for patient needs across the care continuum.
Collaborate to develop protocols and procedures for improved patient outcomes.
Support efficient use of resources and reduction of preventable events.
Other Duties
Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
Comply with all organizational policies and codes of conduct.
Key Requirements
Skills : Ability to perform the full nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation), strong critical thinking and analytical skills, ability to deliver individualized, culturally competent patient care, effective communication and collaboration skills, maintain accurate and timely documentation, mentor, precept, and support developing nurses, understanding of evidence‑based practice and application in clinical care, ability to coordinate care across the continuum.
Strong teamwork orientation and ability to work within interdisciplinary teams.
Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Licensure & Certifications (required upon hire)
Active RN License (Single-State of Georgia or Compact).
BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
Experience
Direct patient care experience (less than 1 year acceptable; more preferred).
Ability to work night shift (for this specific role).
Ability to deliver individualized care in a fast‑paced acute care environment.
Commitment to hospital care standards, safety policies, and code of conduct.
