Key Responsibilities
Perform routine preventive maintenance and inspections on robotic systems.
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and software issues in industrial robots.
Install, calibrate, and test new robotic equipment and peripheral devices.
Modify and optimize robot programs to improve production efficiency and quality.
Execute repairs and replace faulty components in robotic arms, controllers, and end-effectors.
Collaborate with engineers and production staff to resolve complex automation challenges.
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance, repair, and programming activities.
Recommended Qualifications
Associate's degree or technical certificate in Robotics, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, or a related engineering technology field.
2-5 years of hands‑on experience with industrial robots (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB) in a manufacturing environment, including programming, operation, and maintenance.
Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting (e.g., Allen‑Bradley, Siemens).
Ability to read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
Strong understanding of industrial safety protocols and lockout/tagout procedures.
Bonus Qualifications
Familiarity with PLC programming languages (e.g., Ladder Logic, Structured Text).
Experience configuring and troubleshooting robotic vision systems.
Proficiency with CAD software for reviewing or modifying cell layouts and tooling.
Basic understanding of industrial networking protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet).
