Compensation $21‑25/Hour

Key Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures while helping patients feel comfortable

Set up and break down the operatory after treatment

Take dental radiographs (x‑rays)

Manage infection control by preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment

Provide patients with follow‑up instructions following all dental treatment procedures

Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health

Qualifications

Dental Assistant Certificate where state regulations specify

X‑ray certification where state regulations specify

Working Environment & Physical Requirements This is a clinical working environment where exposure to hazardous waste and blood‑borne pathogens is possible. Requires prolonged periods of standing, sitting, leaning, and bending up to 8 hours a day. You will be required to carry, transport, and use tools and equipment. Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
