Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing and at least two years of experience as a licensed practical nurse, or equivalent combination of training and experience. Current license to practice in Virginia. Physically able to lift, carry, transfer, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods. Basic computer skills required for navigating and documenting notes in the electronic health record. Professionalism and confidentiality protection required. Strong customer service skills required. Occupational medicine experience preferred. Pre-employment requirements:
Drug testing, FBI criminal background check, and education/degree verification. Safety Sensitive:
This position is subject to random drug and alcohol testing. Duties: Observing, recording, and reporting symptoms, reactions, and changes in patient condition. Assisting physicians and nurse practitioners during patient examinations. Preparing and administering prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies. Stocking and maintaining inventory of medications and medical supplies. Performing phlebotomy for laboratory testing. Assisting with health assessments, screenings, and testing for COVID-19, influenza, and strep A. Performing ancillary testing including audiometry, spirometry, vision testing, ECG, and tuberculosis screenings. Conducting urine drug screening and breath alcohol testing. Performing other required work as specified. Shift:
Monday - Friday; 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Salary:
$55,278.00 – $74,625.00 annually . Location:
